I have been in the hospitality industry since 2006. I spent 2/3 years studying catering & hospitality whilst juggling a couple of waitressing jobs on the side. I also freelanced at various large events such as race days at Aintree Racecourse as a bar manager.
Once completing my studies, I then moved to Leicestershire to work at Kilworth House Hotel where I gained first-hand experience in weddings from every angle (from planning right down to polishing the cutlery. You name it, I’ve done it!) and this is where my love for all things weddings began.
After a few years, I took a break from hospitality and became a legal secretary and then a PA. After 10 years of a successful corporate career, I still had a calling for wedding planning so, I took the plunge and set up my own wedding planning business.
I think it is such an honor to be asked to plan and design weddings. For a lot of people, it’s quite an emotional time in their lives and I love getting to know my couples on a personal level. I feel extremely lucky to lead them on their planning journey and relish the challenge of ensuring they have an unforgettable experience.
On the wedding day, I really enjoy the buzz of a celebration. Everyone is excited, happy and positive. It’s such a nice environment to be in. Seeing my couples and their guests having a great time is what I am passionate about.
